and I FINALLY met a nice supra owner. Last Sunday at the track i saw 2 supras running 10's @ 130 + mph. Admittedly they have some serious money into them but fast is fast. There were some decently fast BPU's there too. One of the 10 sec supras belongs to a ex Z owner. I was amazed at the relative simplicity of the mods required to get it in the 10's. Very impressive indeed. Also saw the famous red supra that belongs to "Jesus Riveria" from Orlando. Freeking fast car. Although the BPU supra lost to me in my DSM he turned out to be a friendly and nice guy. He didn't have a whole lot in mods, i think full exhaust, intake, boost controller some other stuff that i didn't look at. He was running high 12's low 13's all day on pump gas and 18 psi. Not bad concidering the minimal mods. On pete's car (the 10 sec 6 speed) i marveled at how clean the install was. Almost looked like it could have come the factory that way. I believe he has 600 rwhp on pump gas and around 650 + on race gas. A couple of nights ago he had major traction issues on drag radials but on sunday with sliks he went right into the 10's with 1.5 sec 60 ft times. I think his best run was 10.72 @ 130 + mph. BTW he has a 6 speed to boot. In conclusion i think a hi mileage supra for less than 18 k will be my ticket into the 10's. My aim will be to try to build a street going 10 sec supra for less than 25 k. I hope i can do it, wish me luck :) Harry
